Albtelecom and Infonova announce that Albtelecom has successfully upgraded to R6
To enable Albtelecom to meet its customer and market needs, Albtelecom has upgraded to the new Infonova BSS R6

The R6 enables AlbTelecom to improve its billing operations spanning from order entry, customer management, bill cycle and collection process, which significantly enhances the customer’s overall experience.

“AlbTelecom is now enabled for more efficient operations, which ultimately drives customer retention, an increase in sales and improved revenues” says Vahap Yeroglu, CIO of AlbTelecom. “Order-to-cash time is critical to our business. It is key for improving our cash flow. With the upgraded BSS R6 we experience a dramatically reduced order-to-cash time, which contributes to an optimized cash management as well as reduced costs.”

“Additionally, since the R6 order-to-cash platform is capable to deliver tomorrow’s new business models, we are now ready to support new business model requirements with the new billing and partner orchestration platform.” says Sevket Acar, CEO of AlbTelecom.

Infonova upgraded the R6 Billing and Customer Management Application of AlbTelecom in 9 weeks. The speed of implementation, enabled by Infonova's agile SCRUM methodology together with the close cooperation with the AlbTelecom team was another key for the successful implementation. “We are delighted that AlbTelecom chose to introduce the new Infonova BSS R6” says Andrew Thomson, VP Infonova Solutions. “the R6 is fully convergent for pre, post & real time services and supports the setup of multiple virtual operators on one single platform, which will unlock new Telco 2.0 revenue streams in the increasingly competitive Albanian market”.
