The solution has been built as a proof of concept for ORS, Austrian Broadcasting Services. Cornerstone of the solution is the eventIS VoD back office system. Sample Hybrid TV applications can be viewed on a Humax iCord (HbbTV) digital receiver. In the common showcase the companies demonstrate integrated HbbTV service delivery, subscriber management, billing and customer care orchestrated by Infonova BSS R6. 

Hybrid TV or HBB – Hybrid Broadcast Broadband – the seamless combination of linear digital TV content distributed in DVB networks with on demand information delivered via broadband IP connection to a single TV screen is a major business opportunity for broadcasters, service providers and content providers.
