GRAZ, AUSTRIA – April 17, 2010 – Infonova, one of the leading Next Generation BSS vendors, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious TM Forum (TMF) Excellence Awards in the Solution Excellence category.

The Awards are highly respected in the industry and recognize leading vendors for their innovative and effective use of TM Forum Solution Frameworks to deliver tangible cost reduction and efficiency improvements to customers.

Infonova’s R6 enables providers, SI’s & enterprises to partner together, define terms of trade and then transact with confidence that monies due to each party are automatically allocated as customers buy services.  In essence, R6 is a “partnering orchestration, monetisation & automated revenue sharing allocation” software platform for new business model revenue streams.

Leveraging an end-to-end JavaEE virtualized API architecture, R6 enables each virtual operator / tenant to configure, bundle and price their own product & service portfolios including Cloud (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS), Broadband IP, VoIP, IPTV, PSTN, Mobile with other third party services, e.g. media, insurance, device distribution, content, water, gas and power - for their target markets.  It also enables each tenant to manage their own customers, orders, billing and receivables.

The R6 is also used in TM Forum’s BT led Cloud Broker Services Catalyst that is also nominated as a Finalist in the TM Forum Business Innovation Excellence Award category. The Catalyst is using R6 as a billing catalog and billing engine, to manage the monetization of cloud services, and to enable enterprise customers to be virtual operators of these services.

The Awards ceremony and winner will be announced during the opening Keynote Perspectives session at Management World 2010 in Nice, France on the morning of Tuesday, 18 May. The audience of around 2,500 delegates will include a high proportion of senior communications and media executives as well as a significant number of press and analysts.
