Infonova, one of the leading Next Generation BSS vendors, is proud to announce the upgrade of its existing Infonova BSS platform to Release 6.2 in September 2009. With the new Release 6.2 Infonova now provides enhanced account hierarchy functionality, the capability to provide bonuses for monetary and non-monetary discounts & allowances as well as a Supplier Management Module.

The new features of Infonova BSS Release 6.2 are:

Enhanced Account Hierarchies
With the new account hierarchy functionality hierarchies or non-hierarchical groups or networks of billing accounts can be set up for companies, subsidiaries, employees and families. Any charges accumulated to a billing account can be transferred to any other billing account within the hierarchy. Billing accounts can also be aggregated so that the head of the Finance Department or a family receives only one bill for all the usage.

Discounts and Allowances
Release 6.2 enables bonus configuration like monetary and non-monetary discounts and allowances. Discounts are proportionate or fixed deductions made on a customer's invoice like percentage, offset and clipping. Allowances are monetary or non-monetary benefits granted to customers at the offer level for a given product or bundle.

Supplier Management
The new Supplier Management module enables the easy definition and integration of service providers and new services including all types of non telco services, e.g. media, content, device fulfillment, insurance, etc. It enables the wholesale operator to collect and manage Service Provider information, to create and assign services, service types and specifications, to allocate mediation feeds, and to upload and view service definitions.
